A study of Literature Review on the acupuncture and moxibution treatments for stomatopathy

Abstract
Objectives : To study acupuncture and moxibution treatments for stomatopathy( aphthae, oral ulceration, mycolic stomatitis, halitosis, thirst, bitter) the ancient and the present literatures were reviewed.

Methods : We¡¯ve got compared and analyzed 55 kinds of literatures.

Results and Conclusions : 1. The acupuncture meridians used frequently for stomatopathy were Su-yangmy?ng-Taejang- ky?ng(LI), Chok-yangmy?ng-Wi-Ky?ng(S), Immaek-Ky?ng(CV). 2. The acupoints used frequently for aphthae were Sungjang(CV24), Yomchon(CV23), Hapkok(LI4), Nogung(P8), Chok-samni(S36), Hyopko(S6), Sugu(GV26). 3. The acupoints used frequently for oral ulceration were Hapkok(LI4), Nogung(P8), Chok-samni (S36), Kokchi(LI11), Sotaek(SI1), Pisu(B20), Wisu(B21), Samgan(LI3), Yomchon(CV23), Chichang(S4). 4. The acupoints used frequently for mycolic stomatitis were Hapkok(L4), Chichang(S4), Hyopko (LI4), Sungjang(CV24), Samumgyo(SP6). 5. The acupoints used frequently for halitosis were Naejong(S44), Chok-samni(S36), Chung-wan (CV12), Sang-wan(CV13), Hawan(CV10), Kongson(SP4), Wisu(B21), Nogung(P8), Sugu(GV26), Sungjang(CV24). 6. The acupoints used frequently for thirst were Sosang(L11), Sangyang(LI1), Sotaek(SI1), Kwanch¡¯ ung(TE1), Ch¡¯?kt¡¯aek(L5), T¡¯ae-gye(K3), Kokt¡¯aek(P3), Sugu(GV26), Samgan(LI3), Igan(LI2), T¡¯aech¡¯ung(Liv3), Sojangsu(B27). 7. The acupoints used frequently for bitter were Yangn?ngch¡¯?n(G34), Hy?njong(G39), Kwanch¡¯ung (TE1), Tamsu(B19), Chokkyu?m(G44), Y?n-gok(K2), Shinmun(H7), Chok-Samni(S36).
